It could become a really nice vacation home if some maintenance backlog could be addressed. The house itself is well divided, the carport next to the front door ideal for getting into the house dry, a big thumbs up for that. The furnishing is quite nice. Dining table and chairs have been renewed, but are already worn. Chairs squeak, one wobbles. Some electrical appliances should be replaced because they are old, like the refrigerator, microwave, and TV (it rattles). Unfortunately, the sun loungers were almost rusted through, cushions were dirty or worn, the bathroom very small, the lower shower edge is starting to mold, and many small things need to be done. The new washing machine was great! The beds were good, the bedroom next to the entrance very nice with new wooden flooring. The property is almost opaque with bushes and trees, so you can comfortably spend time on the beautiful terraces with good seating (except the loungers) and enjoy the peace. The property is not fenced, and dogs can easily go through the bushes to the neighboring properties, so always keep a good eye on them. We solved it with our own mobile fence. Squirrels and rabbits were daily guests here. From the house, there are many beautiful walking trails that we explored extensively. It was annoying that instead of SatTV, we could only receive 3 channels for the first two weeks, and it was only after several complaints that someone took action and a part of the satellite system was replaced. Afterwards, the usual channels ran, but after 1 week there were again reception difficulties with some free channels. We then left it at that and didn't want to spend our vacation with constant visits to the service office and craftsmen in the house. Esmark always had an open ear and tried everything possible to help us, many thanks for that. We still had 4 nice weeks and made the best of it. We would book the house again, but only if some things are changed.
