Traditional thatched roof cottage with cosy garden

The house is a real gem from the '80s. It is very cozy and, despite its truly great retro look, modern in many places. It is spacious and even has a utility room! It is equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, and heat pump and also has a fireplace. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bed was also cozy.

Cozy summer house, feels homely.

At first glance, the house is wonderfully large and bright, appears stylish and good. Then you read the landlord's comments about the sofa (designer piece, please make sure it is not stained...which we consider self-evident, as we are guests) and the children immediately feel hesitant to use the sofa at all. The house is not well equipped with bright lamps. As soon as it got dark outside, it was also very dim inside the house. The kitchen is very well equipped (even with a hand blender and hand mixer!). The oven takes a while to get going and the stylish coffee machine requires some patience. Unfortunately, there is no extra light in the shower, so it is very dark when showering if you draw the curtain. The adjacent bedroom is unfortunately a bit musty, and the mattress smells slightly moldy. We often ventilated it and wiped the windows dry in the morning, but the smell did not go away. Initially, we had no water. Esmark promptly sent a very nice service staff who helped us. The main water valve had been closed by the owner, and I couldn't find it (behind the toilet). I also had to first turn on the electricity at the fuse box to have light. Hot water also needed to be turned on separately. But that was not a problem.

It is very comfortably furnished. Great extensive kitchen equipment. Great dishes and cutlery, coffee machine, kettle, very quiet refrigerator. Enough storage space for groceries. Quiet and good dishwasher. Good layout of the rooms. Large shower and practical baskets in the bathroom cabinet, even 1 hairdryer and soap. Clothing rack in the rear entrance was great. Clothes hooks in the entrance area. That was practical and the entrance was separated from the living room by a door, which was good.
