Not only the wonderfully wide natural beach, but also the adjacent heathland and surrounding plantations invite many hours of outdoor activity and fantastic nature experiences. Pack your walking boots or even your bicycles and explore West Jutland's nature along the numerous walking and cycling trails.

Miles of paths lead you through open heath and moorland, past clear lakes, through plantations where you can marvel at sand-swept oak forests, and repeatedly offering views of the fantastic dune landscape.

Shopping facilities can be found in nearby Vejers, which has supermarkets as well as cosy ice cream parlours and small shops. A wider selection of shopping and attractions can be found in Blåvand, Henne Strand, Oksbøl, or in Varde and Esbjerg.
