Excellent terraces for social gatherings

Around the holiday home at Kirkevejen 19, you'll find several terraces - some fully enclosed, others open and partially covered. Whatever the weather, you'll always find a comfortable spot to sit. The terraces are furnished with garden furniture and sun loungers, and there's a barbecue for preparing and enjoying outdoor meals. We highly recommend visiting Fanø's many specialty and farm shops to source delicious local meat and vegetables for your barbecue.

Just 0.8 miles (1,300 metres) away is Rindby beach, particularly child-friendly due to its often shallow waters. Here you can swim, collect amber, fly kites, or try Blokarting. The beach is accessible by car and bicycle all the way to Sønderho. You can drive right down to the water's edge, which is particularly helpful for families with small children or those with mobility requirements.

Fanø is wonderful to explore by bicycle, with fantastic cycle paths running from Nordby to Sønderho across the entire island through unspoilt nature. We recommend bringing bikes or hiring them on the island.

Shopping facilities are just 200 metres from the holiday home, including a restaurant and café. Both Nordby and Sønderho are worth visiting, offering several specialty shops, restaurants and cafés - and of course museums and attractions to suit all interests.
