Peaceful holiday home with salt water pool on Rømø

The tasteful décor spans two floors with two spacious living areas. Special architectural features include south-facing panoramic windows and a converted loft space, totalling 44 square metres with generous, light-filled layouts. The living area offers comfortable leather sofas, a 70-inch 4K UHD LED Smart TV with Chromecast, 5.1 surround sound with Bluetooth, satellite TV, Blu-ray player, stereo system with CD player, wireless phone charging, and an efficient wood-burning stove. A powerful heat pump provides warmth in winter and air conditioning in summer. The living area windows overlook the pool area.

The open-plan kitchen adjoins the dining area, featuring a practical 2012 kitchen with ample worktop and storage space, self-defrosting freezer (190 litres) and fridge, near-new oven with grill and pyrolytic cleaning, modern induction hob, combination microwave, and dishwasher.

Holiday home features and sleeping arrangements

The holiday home offers five bedrooms, each with box-spring double beds and both winter and summer duvets, pillows, and mattress protectors. The ground floor bedroom includes a 180cm-wide double bunk bed with four box-spring mattresses. One upstairs bedroom can be converted into twin beds. Each room features a Full HD LED TV with digital channels (including German), with one room boasting a 40-inch Full HD LED Smart TV with Chromecast.

The upstairs living area overlooks the ground floor and includes a sofa bed with premium mattresses for two people, opposite a 32-inch Full HD LED Smart TV with digital channels and DVD player.

Two bathrooms were renovated in 2015, one featuring a sauna. Both include toilets, shower enclosures, and non-slip tiles. The larger bathroom contains a washer/dryer, and the sauna features two full-length benches. Underfloor heating is installed in the bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, and pool area.

The energy-efficient heat pump maintains the salt water pool at 30°C (86°F), with constant water quality monitoring. The pool area also includes a two-person hot tub with air massage and separate shower.

Extensive terrace and prime location - trampoline and beach volleyball

This well-equipped, thatched wooden holiday home enjoys a unique location at the end of a road, nestled against a fenced embankment in a woodland clearing. Protected by tall trees that still allow sunlight to reach the 107-square-metre grounds and terrace, the holiday home offers both morning and evening sun. Quality garden furniture and a large stone barbecue create perfect settings for outdoor dining.

Children can enjoy a small playground with a large trampoline, swings, covered sandpit, and even a beach volleyball court.

Located in Denmark's largest national park, the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea site, the holiday home is centrally positioned on Rømø with short walking and cycling distances to Europe's widest bathing beach at Lakolk (2 miles/3,200 metres) and the North Sea/Wadden Sea (0.6 miles/950 metres) on the island's eastern side - Europe's largest feeding ground for migratory birds.
