Spacious garden and prime location in Kromose near the Wadden Sea

It matches a Danish house, old and very cozy. If you are aware of that, it will be a great vacation.

The holiday home has a very special charm of times gone by. If you don't like the past, you should choose another house. We thought it was great. We also found the old light switches, the antique furniture, and the large beautiful bedrooms to be superb. The motion sensors for the light in the hallway and bathroom were not good; during the day, you didn't need the light, driving up the electricity bill unnecessarily. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would book the house again!

After a short adjustment period, as the building is not a "typical" holiday home, we felt very comfortable. It is cozy, has charm, and a history. We got to know the lovely, friendly owner and learned something about the history of the house. For the two of us, it was too large due to the number of rooms, and our center was the cozy kitchen. The big parlor, small parlor, and the second bedroom were not used. The hallway and utility room offer plenty of space to accommodate many things there in advance. The kitchen with its appliances offers everything you need to take care of yourself adequately. The bathroom is spacious, functional, and has underfloor heating. We found the beds very comfortable, and the bedroom(s) is/are spacious. The other rooms (big and small parlor) are generous and offer a lot of space. Whether "winter vacationers" are allowed to use the firewood stored behind the house for the large wood stove should be inquired about. The large window surfaces let a lot of light into the house, but they are original and mostly single-glazed. For those nostalgically inclined, seeking quiet and the Hygge feeling, this place is recommended. The furnishings in the three back rooms have a museum-like appearance. It reflects the character of the house but may not always conform to the taste of renters. To convey this character, however, a chronicle of the history of the building and its builder would be desirable, making much more "tangible." It is already something "special" compared to "conventional" accommodations. An (covered) terrace with a solid base in front of the entrance would allow sitting and/or grilling outside even in worse weather. Covered parking spaces or a shed for bicycles would be desirable. The operating costs of the oil heating are very quickly very high in a building of this type and size that has not been adequately modernized energy-wise (partially single-glazed).
