Modern thatched holiday home just minutes from the North Sea

It is a small, nice house. However, the rooms are very cramped when fully occupied. The nicest part is the sheltered corner in front of the house where you can always sit.

We were there as a couple with a four-legged friend at the end of February 25 in this holiday home. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The house offers everything for a nice holiday in Denmark: The open kitchen is modern and very well equipped. The spacious living area also offers real comfort. We would always come back here.

The house is super nice, and we felt very comfortable there. The living-dining area is very large, and we had plenty of space with four people and a small dog. The bedrooms and sauna, on the other hand, are a bit small. Otherwise, it's a great house that we can only recommend.

The house is very beautifully and quietly located. We particularly liked the sunny and wind-protected spot in front of the house. The path to the beach is very short. However, the rooms are quite small, and storage in the cupboards is limited.

This beautiful house blends into the landscape with its thatched roof. Through the separate driveway, it is perfectly quiet, making free-running dogs safer - even though it is on the main road. Due to the frontal dune, it's still quiet. The detached sitting area, named as 'gem' in the original description, is perfect for sun lovers who want to lie undisturbed surrounded by a pine grove. The cuckoo and the nightingale are heard every day. The beach access is easy to reach. The interior of the house is modern and matches the style of the house. A small sauna is integrated, as well as a washing machine and a dishwasher. If you want to enjoy the evening sun, you like to sit in front of the house in a deck chair.

A totally great little cottage with a beautiful terrace by a small forest, very secluded. Almost all-day sun. Beds were very comfortable. Fireplace super, furnishings top. We felt very comfortable.

We really liked the house. It has a cozy sofa and in the beds my wife and I could sleep well. The kitchen is sufficiently well equipped for a holiday stay. Only the sharp kitchen knives we missed. Since we have been going to Hvide Sande for almost 20 years, we know what to bring. In most holiday homes, it's always the same. Since we were here in February, I can't say anything about the terrace equipment, we didn't need it. I only had a look at the elevated wooden terrace. The way there and the wooden terrace is overgrown and need to be cut free again - and the loungers as well as the terrace need thorough cleaning (mildew). It doesn't look like in the photos. In general, we felt very comfortable here. However, the house has very high heating costs. We needed a lot more wood compared to other holiday homes where we stayed, and we had to keep the underfloor heating and the heat pump running. Therefore, the house has very high electricity costs. The hardest to heat was the bathroom, and that is our biggest criticism point. More than 20 °C was not achievable. In bad weather (rain), the satellite antenna quickly reached its limits, and some channels could no longer be received. Overall our conclusion: in the cold season, we would not book this house again. In summer, it is recommended.
