Charming thatched holiday home for 5 people

Great, cozy vacation home with a very short walk to the beach. The fenced terrace is safe and beneficial for all guests with dogs. The house is well furnished for 3 people and is also big enough, but I would say it's too tight for 5 people, even though the sleeping areas are available. Closets are okay. Bathroom (I was a guest alone with a dog) is sufficient. The shower should be renewed as water runs into the bathroom while showering. Maybe the landlord could make a small adjustment there.

The house is beautifully located and essentially well-equipped. Here and there, items could be renewed (e.g., the ironing board or a cooking pot), but everything important was available. The beds are great, and the house offers a very pleasant indoor climate due to the solid wood ceiling. The windows were renewed around 2018, and together with the solid construction, the house provides good insulation, so that the house does not cool down quickly on cold days. The wood-burning stove is very good, and with a single firing, the living room becomes pleasantly warm very quickly. In the bathroom, however, there are no storage options; a wall shelf would be desirable. Overall, we really liked it and it was a great vacation!

The house is beautifully situated in the dunes. The distance to the beach is very short. The house itself is nicely furnished, the open kitchen and living room are large and inviting. The veranda is almost like an additional room. With a dog, it is perfect that the veranda is completely enclosed, so the dog can constantly roam without a leash. The bedrooms are purely for sleeping. They are too small for spending time during the day.

Great location, close to the beach and easy to reach with children and luggage. As for the house, overall sufficient, but some repairs should be made before the good condition deteriorates.
