Beautiful holiday home with pool in Søndervig for 6 people + dog

The house is wonderfully nestled in the dune landscape. The large property is sufficiently screened from the surroundings by vegetation, ensuring privacy. The exterior of the house is built in the typical wooden house style of the region. The living area and kitchen are modern, bright, spacious, and modern. The equipment is complete. The terrace is spacious. The truly outstanding feature of the house is the pool! After a strenuous and active day outdoors, the pool offers great relaxation. The water and pool area are nicely warm. The pool is large and especially deep enough for proper swimming, offering great wellness. We did not use the sauna, so I cannot comment on it. However, the pool area itself offers little space to stay there, e.g., on a deck chair (which is why there are no suitable indoor deck chairs available). There is no counter-current system for avid swimmers. The bathroom is (very) small and cramped. For more than 2 people, this would be a real comfort hindrance. We also did not find an electrical outlet in the bathroom. There is no mirror in the house (full-length mirror/shaving mirror/makeup mirror). The bedrooms are really very small without storage or shelving options (except maybe on the windowsill). The beds are very low and very soft. I did not sleep well, but that may be individual. Also, the closet space is minimal and definitely not sufficient for a longer stay. We, therefore, converted the children's room into a place for suitcases and as a storage and dressing room. The bedrooms are really just like bunks. The bedroom directly next to the pool area is very loud. The pool equipment is well audible there. Those who are sensitive in this regard will hardly find sleep there, especially when the dehumidifier in the pool area is running and it does so for several hours after swimming. Outside, there is a shed with 2 rooms. I was able to store a bike in a small room, but I couldn't unlock the second, probably larger storage room. Whether the larger room was intended for use, I cannot conclusively say. The timing of the pool inspector's visits (once a week) should be scheduled or planable. The expectation that he could appear at any time (which he did early in the morning on the 5th day without prior notice) was somewhat annoying. My conclusion: A great house for 2 people with a high feel-good and wellness factor. However, compromises must be made in the sleeping and sanitary areas.

Nice cozy holiday home with a great pool. The fireplace is wonderful for winter days. Quiet location ideal for slowing down from the 'German' everyday life. We had a wonderful week with our 2 children and it certainly won't be our last time in this house.

The holiday home is well-suited for six people in terms of layout. The flooring is easy to maintain. The pool invites you to linger for a long time. Some kitchen utensils like whisks should be replaced.

We stayed in this cozy holiday home mid-October. Absolutely sufficient if you don't have high expectations (value for money is reasonable). The house is clean, with a large outdoor area and a really great wellness area. Unfortunately, the house is only suitable for 2 adults and 2 children, as the pool heating is mounted on the back wall of the 3rd bedroom - resulting in a slight humming in the room, which can be quite disturbing at night. Otherwise, you can book the house without hesitation!

We had a very nice holiday in a clean and cozy holiday home. The pool is wonderfully large, and Esmark set it to 30 degrees for us on request. It worked perfectly. We would definitely book the house again!

The holiday home is small and beautiful, certainly even better in summer. It is very well located.

The vacation home offers all the comfort you could wish for. As a family, you immediately feel comfortable here. The season does not matter. Sea and fjord are within walking distance. Cleanliness is a high priority here. Pool area and wet rooms are in perfect condition. Only the coat hooks should be brought from home - unfortunately, they are missing everywhere.
