The beach and North Sea are about 1.5 miles (2,500 metres) away, accessible by car, bicycle, or on foot. Holidays provide time and leisure to spend long hours in the fresh air and beautiful nature of the West Coast. A visit to the magnificent natural beach is definitely recommended, even if the sometimes bracing westerly wind might give you an interesting new hairstyle.

Shopping facilities can be found in Thorsminde, about 10 minutes from your holiday address. This small fishing village lies north of Nr. Fjand on a narrow peninsula between sea and fjord. Here you can buy freshly caught fish, watch the fishermen at their daily work, or even try your luck at fishing yourself.
