At Esmark, you have the flexibility to check out at your convenience, even outside of our office hours. Please remember to read the consumption meters and enter the values in your digital consumption cost statement. You can do this conveniently via your MyEsmark guest login retrieve.

The easiest way to pay is by direct debit, but you can also pay in cash or by card at our office. Don't forget to return any borrowed items and linen packages (bed linen & towels) to our office before or on your departure.

The holiday home must be…

Left by 09.00 am if you have ordered a cleaning service or if this is included. Be vacated by 10:00 a.m. if you have arranged for your own cleaning, after which you must return your keys directly to the Esmark office.

Reading the consumption meters

When you leave the holiday home, you must read the electricity and any other consumption meters. Make a note of all the read figures in your digital consumption cost billing, unless you have booked a holiday home with energy included.

Key collection and check-out

On the day of departure, you must return the holiday home keys to your Esmark office where you received them on arrival. Consumption is settled directly at check-out, either at the office or by direct debit. You can pay by cash, credit or debit card at our office.

Important: The keys must be returned to the Esmark office where you received them.

Return of bed linen, cot etc.

If you have borrowed bed linen, a cot, high chair, handcart or similar items from us, please return them to the office where you got them when you hand in the keys at the latest. Outside the Opening hours of Esmark you can simply leave the rental equipment and bed linen in our key room.

Flexible departure even outside our opening hours

Are you planning to check out before the opening hours of our Esmark office and start your journey home? No problem! When you leave your holiday home, simply note the consumption figures you have read in your guest login in the digital consumption cost statement and confirm the payment by direct debit. You can then conveniently drop the two keys in our office letterbox.

Please note: Please return borrowed items to the key room at the Esmark office.

Security deposit

If you have paid a deposit for your holiday home stay, the amount will be transferred back to your account within 14 days if the house has been left in good order. Energy consumption cannot be offset against the deposit. More information about the deposit.

Quick checklist

Before you leave the holiday home, you must remember the following:

  • Empty the trash.

  • Remove food from the refrigerator and kitchen cabinets. Empty the dishwasher, if available.

  • Empty the stove (then pour water over the warm ashes).

  • Fill the spa with cold water up to approx. 15 cm above the jets, but only if you have used it.

  • Remove dog or cat hair and droppings from the property if you had a dog or cat with you.

  • Turn off lights, heaters, etc. during the winter months, but please set radiators to 5 C to prevent possible frost damage.

  • Close and lock doors and windows.

These things must always be done, even if you have ordered a final cleaning.
