The term Klegod: Klæg and odde?

The name Klegod is a combination of two terms. The first is Klæg, the name for fertile soil mixed with clay, of which there used to be plenty in Klegod. The fields led to the last tip of Ringkobing Fjord - which was then called odde. The odden used to be much more visible than they are today, but if you look closely, you can still recognise the odden today.
