A Hansensvej lies in the peaceful Sønderstrand holiday-home area in the southern part of the Wadden Sea island of Römö. The world-famous Sønderstrand is one of the widest beaches in Europe: fine white sand as far as the eye can see, where you're even allowed to drive right down to the water. When the wind picks up, the beach becomes an eldorado for kitebuggying, blokart and beach sailing.

Nature lovers can join guided mudflat walks, when the tides lay bare the seabed and countless birds come into view. A riding centre offering forest and beach rides is right nearby, and the island's golf course is quickly reached too.

It's only a short drive to lively Havneby with its harbour, shops, restaurants and the ferry to Sylt.
