In the heart of the popular resort of Blavand, you'll find Bytoften – central yet peacefully located. Blavand is famous for its sandy beach. The southern beach lies sheltered behind the Horns Rev reef and, with its shallow water, is especially child-friendly, while the northern beach is wilder and more rugged – ideal for long walks and flying kites.

There's never a dull moment in Blavand: climb the Blåvandshuk lighthouse at Denmark's westernmost point, dive into the history of the west coast at the Tirpitz Museum, or visit Blåvand Zoo with the kids. And if you fancy a change of scene, the neighbouring resort of Vejers Strand is quickly reached.
