Holiday homes with heat pump
Our holiday homes with heat pumps are very energy-efficient compared to traditional Danish holiday homes with electric heating.
Many modern, newly built Holiday homes in Denmark are now so well insulated that only a small amount of heating and energy is required to keep the holiday home at a comfortable temperature. Houses with a heat pump are particularly ideal here, as the air is distributed evenly throughout the room.

What kind of heat pumps are available in the holiday homes?
AIR-TO-AIR HEAT PUMP
One of the most popular and common solutions for the holiday home is the Air-to-air heat pump, It is easy to install and is often located in the living area to distribute the air evenly from there. This model is not only found in modern houses, many classic holiday homes are now also equipped with an air-to-air heat pump.
The air-to-air heat pump is very similar to an air conditioning system and works by extracting heat from the outside air and converting it into heat inside. The heat or cold is not distributed throughout the house via pipes or radiators.
To heat other rooms, the doors have to be open or additional heating sources have to be used, which is why bathrooms, for example, often have electric underfloor heating.
AIR-TO-WATER HEAT PUMP
Another good solution for heating a holiday home is a Air-to-water heat pump, which supplies heat for both the water and the room air. This model is very often used in Holiday homes with pool and significantly reduces the heating costs for warming up the pool area compared to a classic electric pool heater.
Heating and air conditioning in one
Some heat pumps also have a cooling function and can therefore be used as air conditioning to cool well-insulated houses on hot days Summer days to cool down. However, this is not for all models the case, please enquire with us if necessary, if you want to make sure that the heat pump also has an air conditioning function.
Heat pumps can be used for heating all year round, so you can save a lot of money on your utility bills in your Danish holiday home.
Even older, less well insulated holiday homes can be kept warm in an environmentally friendly and even way with a heat pump, so that in the Winter frost damage or moisture in the house can also be avoided.
