Classic holiday home with sauna and hot tub in Jegum

Good house, perfect for dogs or kids. Playtime without end.

The house is located on a pipe stem plot not far from the "center" of Jegum. Here there is a small supermarket, minigolf, playground, and tables and benches to linger. The property is quiet, with a walking path running along the back. The house is freshly renovated and well-maintained. However, you can tell from the rather small rooms that it is an older house. Two bedrooms only have narrow double beds, one with a "normal" size. The bed is then directly against the wall on the side. However, you can move it to the middle - for slim people, access from both sides is possible. The mattresses were fine and not too soft. In the bathroom, everything was okay, the shower is installed at the eave and is a bit too low for tall people, the cabin is not particularly large, and the curtain tends to move inward a bit. Hot water is somewhat limited if more than 2 people want to shower one after the other. The kitchen is well-equipped, with enough cutlery and dishes and pleasingly sharp kitchen knives. The stove has "normal rotary knobs" - but seemingly not necessarily the strongest heat performance when working with multiple burners. The dining table is suitable for 6 people, it becomes a bit tighter in the corner with the sofa when fully occupied. The wood stove has a small firebox, which you should keep in mind when buying firewood. Other than that, the burning quality is very good! In the warm season, the outdoor area is, of course, important: Here, there is a new and very tidy large terrace paved with stones, new garden furniture. The covered part is in the shade, the open part has lots of sun. The lawn area is large and ideal for playing for children. For bad weather, there is an additional building (door cannot be locked). Dartboard, billiard/table tennis table, children's games are available. This room is also very tidy and well-maintained. A highlight is of course the hot tub: It is also very well-maintained, has a very well-functioning oven, and a very well-insulated lid. The last users apparently had trouble with the fire-making, so that initially a lot of soot came from the chimney and fell into the water. But that wasn't the case after the 2nd heating, with the truly "official" paddle, the water was easy to stir, and the oven required little attention, the wood was always completely burned to ash in the end. Conclusion: A beautiful and well-maintained quietly located holiday home in Jegum. The facilities are very good; we felt comfortable. Only the rooms and the bathroom are a bit smaller due to the year of construction. In summer, you spend most of your time outside anyway, in winter it might be a bit tighter when fully occupied. The hot tub and the activity house are, of course, great.

Modern and clean. Very beautiful garden. The hot tub is the absolute highlight. There is also plenty for the children. Soccer goals, basketball hoop. The little house with darts, billiards, and table tennis invites you to linger. We would book it again.
