Spacious holiday home with fireplace and whirlpool in Houstrup

The house is very spacious, cozy, and personally furnished. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. In the many drawers and cabinets, you'll find everything you could need: good pots and pans, dishes and cutlery, as well as a toaster, kettle, and coffee machine, alongside a sandwich maker with interchangeable plates and even a hot air fryer. The bedrooms and bathroom in the rear area are, as is common with older houses, somewhat smaller. Later, the house was expanded with an extension featuring another slightly larger bedroom and a very spacious bathroom with a large whirlpool. The original external window was simply retained during the extension, so you can look from the living area into the bathroom. Fortunately, all windows in the house are equipped with blinds, in case you prefer more privacy in the bathroom. Additionally, the toilet and shower areas are each separated by a curtain. The hallways on both sides of the living room can be separated by additional doors. Moreover, all bedrooms have wardrobes for clothes. The house, terrace, and garden are extensively and predominantly maritally decorated. Especially nice is the large covered terrace with numerous garden furniture. The well-maintained and barely overlooked property also offers a large lawn for playing. The playhouse is a bit old but still likely a highlight for small children. Additionally, a raised bed with a small herb garden has been created. The car can be parked safely under a carport directly in front of the door, allowing you to enter the house with dry feet even in the rain. The sheds and small outbuildings are used privately and are not accessible to holiday guests.

Overall, the vacation home positively surprised us because only 3 stars were indicated and the time of the last renovation was many years ago. There was NOTHING missing in the house. We particularly liked the clever layout of the rooms. Thanks to the additional hallway doors, you could sleep in or move around the house early ... Would gladly rent it again if it were a little cheaper.

This vacation home is simply great. Nothing was missing! The kitchen is perfectly equipped, plenty of dishes, cutlery, pots of all kinds. Two bathrooms, a smaller one but sufficient, with toilet, sink, shower, a small cabinet for your own utensils and hooks for towels behind the door. The second bathroom is very spacious, with toilet, shower, cabinets, and the highlight a 2-person whirlpool. There are three bedrooms, one with two single beds, the others are double beds. Each bedroom has wardrobes for clothes. There are many cozy seating areas both inside and out. Also, a reading corner with many books (also in German), board games, DVDs. A reason to turn off and set aside the mobile phone. For the little ones, there is a sandbox and a playhouse outside. Even on cold days or evenings, the fireplace provides coziness again. A very nice house to switch off from everyday life and enjoy the holiday.

Very nice house, with everything you need to feel comfortable. We lacked nothing. This house can only be highly recommended.
