Engesøvej 53 is a functional holiday home measuring 101 m², spread over two floors. It has everything you need for a wonderful holiday close to the roaring North Sea, which is just under 800 metres from your holiday accommodation.
On the ground floor, you’ll find two bedrooms, the a bathroom with underfloor heating, and the kitchen and living room, which are open-plan. The lovely kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a separate 30-litre freezer and a seating area with bar stools. The lounge invites you to relax with a good book on the sofa, play board games and much more – whilst the wood-burning stove crackles, creating just the right cosy atmosphere.
Upstairs, there are two further bedrooms and a lounge with a TV and a table football table, where you can have a game. From here, you can step out onto the lovely balcony, which is the perfect spot to enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee and the view over the beautiful countryside.
A highlight is the sauna, which you’ll find in the annex next to the holiday home. Here you can unwind and warm up properly – perfect after a long walk by the water. You’ll also find a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom, which is nice and handy.
Green outdoor area with several lovely terraces
Outside, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy sunny days. All round the house, you’ll find several lovely terraces where the garden furniture is laid out and ready for you. One of the terraces is closed, which is ideal for both families with children and dog owners. After a day full of activities, you can gather round a delicious meal cooked at the barbecue.
The green, natural grounds are perfect for playing and having fun, and for the little ones you’ll find both a sandpit and swings.
Close to the beach, nature and Vejers’ charming town life
From the holiday home, it’s just 800 metres to the North Sea and the wide sandy beach for which Vejers is famous. Here you can swim, build sandcastles, collect amber or take long walks along the water’s edge all year round.
Vejers offers a holiday atmosphere and little moments of joy – explore the town’s shops, grab an ice cream or find a good place to eat when you’re after something simple yet delicious. The area also lends itself to outdoor activities, and you can fill your days with bike rides, walks and little adventures in the dunes and woodland.
There are plenty of exciting places to visit near Vejers – Henne Strand, Oksbøl and Blåvand are all well worth a visit. Here you can, amongst other things, visit the Flugt Museum, the indoor climbing park, Junglefun or an escape room.

Beliggenhed & landskabet
Sandstrand så langt øjet rækker, et flot klitlandskab, fyrretræsskove og store hedeområder – dette varierede og uspolerede landskab er det, der gør feriebyen Vejers Strand til noget helt særligt. Som noget helt særligt må man i afgrænsede områder gerne tage bilen med på stranden – så er der sikret en god tilgængelighed for alle.
Indkøb og shopping
I Vejers Strand ligger butikkerne inden for kort afstand på hovedgaden. Her finder du butikker med souvenirs, kunsthåndværk, outdoortøj og alt til strandturen. I det lokale bageri og supermarkedet Vejers Storkøb kan du købe både snacks og alt til madlavningen i sommerhuset. Er du til en større shoppingtur, kan vi anbefale Esbjerg (ca. 30 km) eller Blåvand (13 km).
Restauranter og caféer
En af de kulinariske højdepunkter i Vejers Strand er røgeriet Vesterled Røgeri med fiskerestaurant, men feriebyen byder selvfølgelig også på grillbarer, hvis det skal være en hurtig snack. Derudover finder du pizzarestauranter og spisesteder med retter til hele familien. Weyers Café er oplagt til en kop kaffe og kage.
Aktiv ferie og fritid
Naturen med strand, klitplantager, fyrretræsskove og lyngområder er det store omdrejningspunkt i Vejers Strand. Derfor er området oplagt til alle former for aktiviteter i naturen såsom lange gåture ved stranden, mountainbiketure på de mange stier eller vandringer gennem det varierede landskab. Noget helt særligt er kronhjortene, som endda kan ses mellem sommerhusene.
Seværdigheder
Et trækplaster i Vejers Strand er den kilometerlange sandstrand med bilstrand, men oplandet byder også på spændende seværdigheder. På bunkermuseet Tirpitz (ca. 13 km) får du mere at vide om Vestkystens historie, og Blåvandshuk Fyr (ca. 15 km) er Danmarks vestligste fyrtårn. Herfra kan du nyde en imponerende udsigt over Vesterhavet og oplandet.
Ferie med hund
Den lange strand er oplagt til gåture med hunden, og fra oktober indtil april må dine firbenede venner endda gå uden snor. Også lyngområderne og Kærgård Klitplantage er gode at gå tur med hunden i, og hundeskoven i Oksbøl (13 km) er et populært sted. Selvfølgelig finder du også i Vejers Strand sommerhuse til en ferie med hund.
Sjov for hele familien
En ferie i Vejers Strand er ensbetydende med sjov og underholdning for store og små børn. Hvis I har brug for en pause fra strandturene, kan I spille minigolf, og der ligger en hyggelig legeplads i forbindelse med indkøbsstrøget – perfekt til en shoppingpause! Blåvand Zoo (12 km) er en lille zoo, der er især populær blandt familier med mindre børn.
