Do you need to relax—just the two of you, possibly with your children or a couple of friends—far away from everyday life in a holiday home that truly has its own character? Then you’ve found the right place on a natural plot only about 200 metres from the North Sea. The house faces east–west, while the beach lies to the south—making the location very child-friendly.
The kitchen at Horns Rev 57 has only two hotplates, but an air fryer is available for your use. There is no dishwasher, but instead you get plenty of cosiness and charm in this architect-designed small holiday home, which has been in the same family’s ownership for many years.
Your electric car can also be charged here, as the house is equipped with a charging point.
Lovely open-plan space and rustic charm
Shortly after entering the simple, unpretentious house, you are welcomed by a pleasant open space with a small kitchen and a cosy living room featuring a beautiful view of the heath.
Here you can prepare simple meals and then relax in the living room with a good film, a board game at the dining table, or a quiet reading moment while enjoying the crackling wood-burning stove and occasionally glancing out at the stunning West Jutland landscape, beautiful in all seasons.
The kitchen fridge keeps your food and drinks fresh, and if you need extra freezer space, a second fridge with a small integrated freezer is located in the annex. Here you will also find the washing machine and tumble dryer, allowing you to keep your holiday wardrobe in order.
A heat pump ensures a pleasant indoor climate all year round, and when it’s time to rest, you can sleep in the two small bedrooms, each with a ¾-size bed. In the bathroom, floor heat keeps your feet warm while you enjoy a refreshing shower.
Outdoor shower and lovely terraces at Horns Rev 57
You can also enjoy a warm outdoor shower under the open sky, available from April 1 to October 31. Outside, you’ll find garden furniture on wooden terraces that wrap almost all the way around the house and connect it with the annex. Enjoy a cold glass of wine or beer, grill a nice meal together on the electric grill, and fully unwind under the wide West Jutland sky while listening to the silence. The terrace is sheltered by a wind screen.
Shopping and daily necessities are available in Blåvand’s shops only about 2 km from the house. If you feel like exploring local attractions, the Tirpitz bunker museum, Blåvand Zoo, and the iconic Blåvandshuk Lighthouse are all worth a visit. The climb of 170 steps is rewarded with breathtaking views over the heathland and the impressive North Sea. The “FLUGT” refugee museum in Oksbøl, the Fisheries and Maritime Museum in Esbjerg. You can also lace up your walking shoes and reach the heath paths or sandy beach within just 5 minutes.

Beliggenhed & landskabet
Blåvand er Danmarks vestligste punkt og byder på en god blanding af natur og oplevelser. Den sydlige strand er meget børnevenlig og ofte mere rolig takket være Horns Rev, mens Vesterhavet mod nord bruser med store bølger og mere rå natur. Mange sommerhuse ligger i flot natur med hede, klitter eller skov, og andre ligger midt i feriebyen, hvor der er en kort gåtur til butikker og restauranter.

Blåvand er et rigtigt dejligt sted, hvis man gerne vil gå på opdagelse i butikker.
