Holiday home in Vråby for 8 people - natural setting with fireplace

The house has a very well-thought-out layout. The living area is not large, yet you get the feeling of spaciousness in the rooms. Areas separated by seating furniture provide cozy retreat options. On the surrounding terraces outside and in the sandbox, the children can play alone while still being under supervision. A note on the correct bags for organic waste would have been helpful for waste separation. Unfortunately, we used the wrong bag at first.

A charming older holiday home. I liked the overall concept with a thatched roof, lovingly furnished with vintage furniture, exposed beams, large terraces with plenty of seating options (cushions were easily accessible and stored dry), beautiful large garden, the location of the house was really good, quiet and yet close to the South Beach by foot or car. A really beautiful house. And now to the 'but': For 4 tall people over 182cm, there is too little space. Main issue beds: The beds/mattresses are definitely too small and too old and gross (stains on mattresses!). I enjoyed a week in the vacation home and the surroundings, but I could not sleep well ONE night. Question??? Why? Otherwise, everything was there: Crockery/cutlery/glasses/cooking utensils … check. The kitchen is very small. It's silly that the trash cans are mounted over the heater, so we turned off the heater in the kitchen (you don’t necessarily need it there), because the heat went directly to the trash cans hanging above. Also silly that the cutlery drawers couldn’t fully open because they hit those trash cans. The single bed/day bed in the living room was good for us. It felt longer than the mattresses in the beds ;) and we took a nap there during the day. The deep chairs in front of the oven were not suitable for us. Instead, one could have placed a Stressless-like armchair. The oven. Now for something really GOOD! The wood stove is amazing. It draws well, almost no ash, low wood consumption, lighting it up is almost effortless. I give it 10 out of 10 ⭐️ Location: Perfect. Beach Please in each room, if possible: new beds! Single beds with 90 x 200 cm or double bed with 2 mattresses of 90 x 200 cm each. The room downstairs was a nightmare for us (sleep-wise, because the bed was too narrow). Our son upstairs: bed too short. Our other son upstairs: The mattresses were dirty, old. The beds overall were really... yuck I don't know why beds are skimped on. I just had a week in a sweet and great located holiday home, where I couldn’t sleep well at all. Because: beds suck… The house is really sweet.

The vacation home has a beautiful location and good and sufficient facilities. The house offers relatively a lot of space and was sufficient for us as a family of 4 people. The house was very neat and clean. All in all, a very good and recommendable house.

The owner has created a very nice ambiance. There are no suggestions for improvement here. Thank you
