We have just spent a week in this amazing summer house, and we can say without exaggeration that we were completely blown away. It is without comparison one of the best summer houses we have ever stayed in. The location is truly unique. The house is perfectly set back from the road with the most beautiful view over the fields and Ringkøbing Fjord. There is a peace that is hard to describe – you feel it as soon as you arrive. At the same time, it is the perfect distance to the North Sea. We often hopped on our bikes and enjoyed the short, cozy ride through the landscape to the dunes and the beach. The bakery is also just up the road, and the distance to Søndervig is easily covered by bike as well. Lyngvig Lighthouse is also easy to access via the most beautiful path through the dune landscape by bike, and it takes 10 minutes by car to Ringkøbing or Hvide Sande. The property is ideal – also if you have a dog. The small lake creates an amazing wildlife environment, and every day we enjoyed sitting and watching the many birds that landed in flocks to drink. The sight of herons, the many starlings, and the beautiful landscape around the house made the experience truly special. The house itself is nothing short of impressive. It has been carefully and tastefully renovated with the perfect balance of modern comfort and respect for the original charm of the summer house. You can clearly feel that the owners have put both heart and soul into the decor. Every detail seems well-thought-out – from the choice of materials and the beautiful floors to shelves, decorations, and small knick-knacks that all fit perfectly in place. Nothing seems random. The kitchen is undoubtedly the heart of the house. It is a fantastic room that invites cooking, coziness, games, togetherness, and long evenings around the table. There was simply nothing missing. Everything was of high quality, clean, and well-maintained, and you felt at home from the first moment. What really makes a difference are all the little extra things that show how much the owners care about their guests having the best possible experience. There were games for both indoor and outdoor use, beach furniture that was easy to take along, a kite for the beach, chargers for electric cars, and a luxurious, large fridge. Everywhere we went, we noticed how things had been considered carefully. The cleaning deserves great praise as well. The house was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and the good materials made it easy to keep tidy during the stay. We have never before experienced a summer house that met our wishes so precisely. In fact, it exceeded all our expectations. It felt as if someone had built exactly the summer house we would have described in our search for the perfect holiday retreat. The highest praise must go to the owners. It is clear that they are not just renting out a summer house – they are sharing a place they love, and where they genuinely wish for their guests to feel at home. We cannot recommend this summer house warmly enough, and one thing is certain: We will be back.
