If you need to go shopping or fancy an excursion, you can quickly reach either Søndervig or the fishing town of Hvide Sande. Here you'll find various restaurants, cafés and numerous boutiques. In Hvide Sande, there's always something to see around the sluice and various harbours. Seals often appear near the sluice, curiously popping their heads out of the water hoping for treats from the anglers.
