Superb holiday home near the beach with sauna and panoramic views

The house is intended for 6 people, but unfortunately, there is too little storage space for that. We were there for a week with four people, two adults and two children. This way, each child had their own room, which was a great joy, but for six people, it would definitely be too small. Thanks to the weather, we could make great use of the terrace and enjoy the wonderful view. The location is very quiet and private, with no views from others onto the terrace. The path to the beach is very short, and the beach itself was not crowded at all during the holidays, which we really liked. We had a nice, relaxing vacation there.

We arrived at the preheated holiday house, which already gave a pleasant feeling. It was like on the photos and created a very warm impression with fairy lights and Christmas accessories. The living-dining area is beautifully bright due to the many windows. The view towards the fjord was very nice. The terrace is big, but since we were there over Christmas, we couldn't use it. We were four people, and there was sufficient crockery. With six adult persons, it would be too tight for me personally, as there is only one double bed measuring 180 x 200 m and only one bathroom. The house is very noisy, and the room doors do not open quietly. It’s a wooden house, and some are more bothered by the noise (especially when young adults want their privacy), and in winter one is naturally more inside than outside. The path to the beach is not far away, and also not to Sondervig, but you need a car or bike for shopping.

We arrived and fell in love with the little house, it is modern and also the equipment is great for the kitchen, the vacuum cleaner and the other cleaning supplies were clean. For 6 people it is too small though. Since the doors have probably been freshly painted, they stuck, making them difficult to open. You can clean the seals with acetone and the problem would be solved, thank you very much.

Holiday apartments can sometimes be disappointing. "It looked much bigger/brighter/etc. in the pictures." But this apartment was even better than I expected. The whole placement on top of the dune with the view of the landscape towards Ringkøbing is perfect. There are no direct neighbors who could disturb you or that you could disturb yourself. The many seating areas outside were super, you could almost always sit somewhere protected from the wind. The living room/dining room/kitchen is such a cozy space. You can spend hours on the soft sofa and the large armchair. the lighting is very cozy, there are many small lamps you can turn on. I do think, however, that in months when it gets dark faster, it could also get too dark if you can't turn on a "big light." I would book the house again, as the excursion destinations or Søndervig as a place to go out and shop is wonderfully reachable by bike.
