Ecological Hofladen

In Houvig there is an organic Hofladen with many delicious specialities. The Hofladen sells cheese, sausage and meat from its own organic cattle farm, among other things.

The Sondervig holiday home area is just a 5-minute drive south of our holiday homes in Houvig. There are many restaurants, activities and good shopping opportunities here.

Sondervig also hosts the annual sand sculpture festival, where some of the world's best sand sculpture artists build and create works of sand art up to 7 metres high and 200 metres long. The whole family can gather inspiration here and then try to imitate the artists.

Houvig's beautiful beach

The beach at Houvig is large and wide, with plenty of space and never overcrowded. Several of our holiday homes in Houvig are close to the beach and therefore only a few minutes' walk away. If you want a beach that is a little more crowded, you can take a trip to Sondervig beach. This is patrolled by lifeguards in the summer months, there are lots of people out and about and various activities are on offer.

Golf holidays in Houvig

If you want to spend your holiday actively, the Holmsland Klit Golf Club only 3-4 km from Houvig. There is a beautifully laid out 27-hole course here, so why not combine a holiday in a holiday home with a round of golf or two. The course is suitable for both experienced and novice golfers, but can be challenging due to the occasional strong westerly wind.
