The pretty town of Søndervig is a lively holiday resort with many shopping options, restaurants, and activities for the whole family, and it’s not far away. A great alternative on rainy days is the large Lalandia water park, which also has an indoor playground.

Nearby you’ll also find an 18-hole golf course that can be played year-round, one or two fishing lakes, and an ostrich farm that is open to visitors. In Kloster you can make your own candles, and in the next-largest town, Ringkøbing, you can go shopping and visit the Ringkøbing Fjord.
