Kap Farvel in Kongsmark

Kap Farvel in Kongsmark is an excellent choice if you're looking for nature, peace and traditional island charm on the North Sea island of Römö. The holiday homes lie centrally yet quietly on generously sized natural plots – the Wadden Sea begins just a few hundred metres away. The wide North Sea beach at Lakolk on the island's west side is around 3.5 km away, easily reached by bike or car.

All around Kap Farvel you'll find the typical Römö landscape of heath, spruce and open meadows. The nearby Wadden Sea (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is a paradise for nature lovers – on a guided mudflat walk or seal safari you can watch seals and countless birds. The Tønnisgård nature centre in the neighbourhood also organises exciting excursions across the whole island.

On the west side, the kilometre-wide Lakolk beach beckons with shallow water and plenty of room for swimming, walking and kite-flying. Right near your holiday home you'll also find Römö's popular butcher and the cosy Café Hattesgård. The island is wonderful to explore by bike, and Römö church, with its model ships, is well worth a visit too.

Many holiday homes at Kap Farvel are charming thatched houses, offering cosy comforts such as a wood-burning stove, sauna, hot tub or a heatable bathing barrel. They're ideal for families as well as guests who like to bring their dog along. Kap Farvel is ideal if you're looking for a holiday base that combines closeness to nature, Wadden Sea experiences and the special charm of Römö perfectly.
