Right in the heart of the popular resort of Blavand, you'll find Lyngkrogen – ideal if you want to reach both the beach and the town centre easily on foot. It's only a few minutes to the sandy beach of the North Sea, and you can reach the lively town centre with its shops and restaurants in about 500 m. The nearest shop is practically on your doorstep.

Blavand has two beaches: the southern beach lies sheltered behind the Horns Rev reef and, with its shallow water, is especially child-friendly, while the northern beach is wilder and more rugged. The broad, white sandy beach invites you to swim, play and fly kites.

There's never a dull moment in Blavand: climb the Blåvandshuk lighthouse at Denmark's westernmost point, dive into the history of the west coast at the Tirpitz Museum, or visit Blåvand Zoo with the kids. The Flugt refugee museum in Oksbøl is also just around 15 minutes away. And for a change of scene, the neighbouring resort of Vejers Strand is quickly reached.
