Prilen in Rindby

Prilen lies in Rindby, the most popular holiday spot on the island of Fanø, roughly where the island is at its narrowest. The holiday homes here stand on natural plots in an attractive setting, often with a wonderful view across the dune landscape. The wide sandy beach is just a few hundred metres away. Rindby Strand stretches for 18 kilometres – and you're even allowed to drive onto it by car.

The nature around Prilen is wonderfully varied. Dikes, fields, dunes, stretches of heath and small lakes alternate with one another, and the Fanø Klitplantage woodland invites you on lovely walks. On the sandbanks off the coast you can watch seals, and with a little luck you might even find amber on the beach.

There's plenty to experience in the surroundings: in Rindby you'll find a supermarket, small shops, bike rental and cosy restaurants. You reach Fanø after a short ferry crossing from Esbjerg, and the villages of Nordby and Sønderho, as well as the Fanø Museum, are well worth a visit.
