Spurvevænget is a quiet cul-de-sac in the tranquil holiday-home area of Bork Havn on the Ringkøbing Fjord. From your holiday home it's just a few minutes' walk to the fjord shore, while the North Sea and its broad sandy beaches are within easy reach by car. Like the little sparrow ("spurv" in Danish) the street is named after, you'll quickly feel at home here among meadows and water.

The Ringkøbing Fjord is considered one of Denmark's best surfing spots: the surf beach south of the harbour offers ideal conditions for wind- and kitesurfing, and a surf school helps beginners get started. Families love the child-friendly bathing beach with its shallow, often pleasantly warm water.

The cosy harbour offers small shops, restaurants and, of course, an ice cream by the water. A scenic nature trail runs along the shore all the way to the mouth of the Skjern Å river – and at the nearby Tipperne bird reserve you can watch thousands of migratory birds.
