Holiday Homes in Sundhuse
Sundhuse in Vedersø Klit
In Sundhuse you'll experience a holiday-home break in one of the oldest and most beautiful holiday areas on the Danish North Sea coast. Since the 1930s, Vedersø Klit has been characterised by thatched-roof brick houses on generous plots – peacefully located, surrounded by nature and with considerably less bustle than the towns further south. From Sundhuse it's only around 400 metres to the beach, so you can easily reach the North Sea on foot.
The beach at Vedersø Klit is a long, broad sandy beach with high dunes – car-free, with clean water and plenty of space for long walks in any weather. Nestled between the Nissum Fjord and the Ringkøbing Fjord, the area is a paradise for nature lovers: watersports, cycling tours, hikes and birdwatching at the fjords are all right on your doorstep.
There's plenty more to do, too. Anglers are drawn to the Nissum Fjord and the put-and-take lakes, while families enjoy mini-golf, riding opportunities and the nearby Husby Klitplantage with its bathing lake. Those interested in culture can visit the Strandgaarden museum or the small arts-and-crafts galleries in the area. The lively towns of Søndervig and Thorsminde are also quickly within reach.
The holiday homes in Sundhuse are cosily furnished, many with a wood-burning stove, sauna or whirlpool – ideal for relaxing days in the nature of West Jutland.
