On the North Sea island of Fanö, in the popular resort of Rindby, you'll find Vagtbjerg Klit – high up on a dune crest, with sweeping views over Rindby's rolling landscape all the way to the sea. From your elevated holiday home, it's only around 350–700 m to the broad sandy beach of the North Sea, and the nearest shop is just about 200 m away.

Along Kirkevejen, you can stroll down to Rindby Strand in around ten minutes – past the campsite and the seasonal supermarket. The broad, child-friendly sandy beach is part of the Wadden Sea National Park. Here you can take long walks, go for a swim and, along many stretches, even drive your car onto the beach.

Fanö lies right in the middle of the Wadden Sea – get to know it on a seal safari or collect oysters at low tide. A wander through the cosy lanes of Nordby with its restaurants, or a trip to the idyllic village of Sönderho, is well worth it too. And the island is wonderful to explore by bike.
