Ved Heksebjerg in Blavand

In the eastern part of the popular resort of Blavand, you'll find Ved Heksebjerg – set back a little from the lively centre and surrounded by heath and woodland. Here you'll stay wonderfully peaceful on large, green natural plots. It's around 2 km to the broad sandy beach of the North Sea, and the cycle path takes you easily into the centre of Blavand.

Around Ved Heksebjerg, gorgeous heath and dune landscapes invite you out for long walks – some paths lead straight down to the beach. The broad, child-friendly beach at Blavand is famous for its chalk-white sand and shallow water, ideal for swimming, playing and flying kites.

There's plenty to experience in Blavand: climb the 170 steps of the Blåvandshuk lighthouse at Denmark's westernmost point, dive into the history of the west coast at the Tirpitz Museum, or visit Blåvand Zoo with the kids. Cosy restaurants, shops and mini-golf beckon too. The nearby resort of Vejers Strand is well worth a trip as well.
