Vester Engvej lies a little tucked away in the cosy holiday settlement of Rindby. The wide sandy beach, just behind the dunes, is only a short walk away – easy to reach on foot or by bike, and you're even allowed to drive onto it by car.

The nature around Vester Engvej is wonderfully varied. Some of the houses border on a nature reserve, and from the little bench at the top of the dune you can enjoy lovely views and atmospheric sunsets. Right on your doorstep lies the Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site – and with a little luck you might even find amber on the beach.

There's plenty to experience in the surroundings: shops are quickly reached, and Fanø offers golf, cycling and hiking routes, as well as kite-buggying on the beach. The ferry and fishing town of Nordby lies around three kilometres away, and you reach the island itself after a short ferry crossing from Esbjerg.
