Homarken in Ho
In the idyllic resort of Ho, at the northernmost tip of the Wadden Sea National Park, you'll find Homarken – peacefully nestled in a landscape of meadows, dune plantations and the wide Ho Bay. The well-preserved village of Ho lies just a few kilometres north of the popular resort of Blavand.
Ho Bay forms the northernmost part of the Wadden Sea and is a true natural paradise with unique flora and fauna – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, no less. Along marked walking and cycling routes you can explore the surrounding dune plantations, and from the protected Skallingen peninsula you can see all the way to Esbjerg and Fanö.
For all its tranquillity, Ho has plenty to offer: an 18-hole golf course, a church and an inn, plus the Ho holiday and activity centre with a water park and bowling. Every year at the end of August, the traditional sheep market – Denmark's oldest flea market – draws the crowds. Lively Blavand, with its shops, restaurants, lighthouse and the Tirpitz museum, is quickly reached too.
The holiday homes on Homarken sit on generous natural plots, often surrounded by trees, and frequently feature a wood-burning stove, hot tub and spacious outdoor areas with play equipment – ideal for a relaxing family holiday with your dog.
