Sommervej lies in the tranquil holiday spot of Haurvig, right in the middle of the Holmsland Klit spit, which is surrounded by water between the North Sea and the Ringkøbing Fjord. The wide sandy beach and the North Sea are only a few hundred metres away – within easy walking distance.

The nature around Sommervej is unique. With its shallow water, the Ringkøbing Fjord is considered a true mecca for wind- and kitesurfers, whether beginner or pro. A horse rental is just a few minutes' walk away – whether on horseback, by bike or on foot, the landscape invites you to explore. Also worth seeing is the Abelines Gård museum, an old beach bailiff's farm right by the fjord.

There's plenty to experience in the surroundings: lively Hvide Sande, with its fishing harbour, shops and restaurants, is close by, and you can buy fresh fish straight from the quay. The Lyngvig Fyr lighthouse and several golf courses are also easy to reach.
